Shanghai Modern Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. enjoys powerful R&D strength. Not only owns our company a New Dosage R&D Center with 3 Doctors of Philosophy in Pharmaceutical Sciences but our mother enterprise, SIPI, has 2 members of CAE, 68 experts who have enjoyed a special subsidy from the China State Council and 12 experts of State New Drug Evaluation Committee. Meanwhile, SIPI is the unit of First-level Disciplines for Pharmaceutical Doctorate Degree Granting, qualified to bring up doctoral students in all pharmaceutical disciplines. The Pharmacy College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University was established by both Shanghai Jiao Tong University and SIPI to cultivate masters and doctoral students in all pharmaceutical disciplines.
The structure and research of SIPI have become extensive, covering all aspects of pharmaceutical disciplines, like Chemical Pharmacy Department, Dosage Department, Bio-pharmacy Department, Laboratory of Chinese Medicine Research, Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Action Research, Laboratory of Pharmaceutical Process and Facilities Research, etc. The national centers such as The National Pharmaceutical Industry Information Center (NPIIC), The National Pharmaceutical Engineering Research Center (NPERC), The National (Shanghai) Center for New Drug Safety Evaluation ＆ Research (NCNDSER) and The National Drug Package Testing Center (NDPTC) have successively been funded respectively by The State Food and Drug Administration (SFDA), The Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) and The National Development and Reform Commission (NDRC). SIPI prides its own scientific research facilities and standard geared to the international practice.
In terms of the APIs marketing, the Shanghai Modern Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. has set up a APIs Sales Department which is composed of a professional marketing team. Some of our products are Azithromycin EP, USP, JP, Azithromycin Bitterless, Azithromycin Cyclodextrin Inclusion Complex; Zidovudine EP, USP; Benflumentol and its intermediates; Etoposide EP, USP; Sibutramine Hydrochloride EP, USP; Alpha Lipoic Acid EP, USP, JP and its crystalline and derivatives as well as R-Lipoic acid, etc. All these have competitive advantage in both Chinese domestic and the international markets.
All of our products have obtained GMP certificates from State Food and Drug Administration, most of them with DMF and EDMF documentary system and registration in several countries. At present, we are working on the FDA pre-approval and COS project to achieve the international qualification.
We have established the OEM cooperative relations of capsule, tablet with American and Korean companies, as well as the CRO projects with the pharmaceutical companies in several European countries.
